Schatze
(means Beloved or Sweetheart in German)

1984 ~ 1997
Schatze is actually Jim's dog, but he loves me just as much! He is pictured here not too happy with me because I made him sit for this picture. Schatze was attack trained but as gentle as a kitten around our grandchildren. He was trained in German, Vietnamese and Chinese. He could also read hand signals for all of his commands without Jim uttering a word to him. Schatze was 13 years and weighed 125 pounds when we put him down.
He is still missed. This picture was taken in 1991 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Schatze was a King Fawn Doberman.
