Baptist Minister FRANCIS DUNN was born 1795 in Sullivan, North Carolina and died 1879 in Greenwood, Sebastian County, Arkansas. He married ELIZABETH BOLINGER.
He was anti-slavery. He was almost hanged once before the
Civil War because he was anti-slavery, but escaped.
He is John Michael Turner's 3rd great-grandfather on his father's paternal
side.
