Reverend WILLIAM H EVANS was born 1802, and died 17 December 1862 in Knox County, Kentucky; son of JOHN EVANS & SARAH HAYNE. He married MARGARET BULL about 1820 in Kentucky, daughter of JOHN BULL & ELEANOR COLLINS. She was born about 1802 in Tennessee, and died about 1870 in Bell County, Kentucky. William H Evans was ordained in 1836 as a Baptist Preacher. He preached at Greasy Creek, First Church established on Log Mountain. See "History of Bell County Kentucky Assoc. of Baptists"
