JOSHUA WHITEHEAD son of WILLIAM WHITEHEAD and DELILAH MANNING was born in 1802 in North Carolina. He died in 1862 in Humbolt Township, Cole County, Illinois. He was married to Elizabeth Sloan daughter of THOMAS SLOAN and BARTHENA BROCK before 1815 in Harlan County, Kentucky. She was born in 1803 in Tennessee and died in 1872 in Cole County, Illiniois.
