We purchased our Home in the Fall of 1999 in a small laid back town called Gulfport, Florida. The City Of Gulfport is known as the Gateway to the Gulf. We live on the main Street as you come into the Village of Gulfport about 5 blocks from Boca Ciega Bay. There are quaint little shops and restaurants, Churches, Schools, a small town newspaper called "The Gabber", a Casino, William's Pier to fish from, a few Bed & Breakfast establishments, the Catherine Hickman Theatre, Senior Citizen Center, Library, Historical Museum, recreational facility, skate park, the Gulfport Marina, many parks and plenty of places to walk and meet folks. We have our own Trolley to ride when there are special events in the town. Every first Friday and third Saturday of the month is the Art Walk thru the Village. The local stores have sidewalk displays and musicians out on the lawns. Gulfport hosts the Pink Flamingo House Tour each year where you may tour selected homes in the area. Every fourth of July the parade comes down the street right in front of our Home. Every October there is an antique car show and flea market in the middle of the Boulevard. There's quite a bit of excitement going on for such a small town but it still keeps it's personality. And the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet live here as well. We love it here and plan on stayin' a spell. To see more about Gulfport visit the City of Gulfport Home Page
