DANNY WAYNE AKERS (my brother). He was born 1968. He married BENITA ELAM and has four children. Wayne went to the Army National Guard basic training in the summer of 1986. The basic training was at Ft. (Lost in the Woods) Lennorwood, Missouri. One year later he went active duty with the 101st Airborne and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky on the KY and Tennessee border. While there he quickly worked his way up to Specialist Four (E-4) in just a few years duty. He won an aware for this duty and was pictured in the newspaper.
