WILLIAM BRADLEY JACKSON VAUGHN son of ANDREW JACKSON
VAUGHN and SARAH CRIDER was born 02 February 1898 in
Kentucky, and died March 1981 in Norton, Virginia. He married (1)
CALLIE ROBERTS Bef. 1926. She was born 1903. He married (2)
ROSA ELLEN HAMMONDS June 1926 in Wise County, Virginia,
daughter of WESLEY HAMMONDS and ELIZABETH RAMEY. She was
born 14 March 1902 in Wise County, Virginia, and died 1972 in
Norton, Virginia. He worked in the Virginia and Kentucky mines from age 18 until his retirement in 1952.
He worked in Gladeville No 2 Mines, Wise County, Virginia, among others and in the
Norton Coal Company, Coke Yard.
