ROBERT MCCOLLUM son of GEORGE MCCOLLUM and SARAH ALLEN was born 04 March 1839 in Manchester, Clay County, Kentucky, and died 11 August 1915 in Newkirk, Kay County, Oklahoma. He married MARY EMELINE MURRAY 28 July 1862 in Clay County, Kentucky, daughter of DANIEL MURRAY and ELIZABETH PONDER. She was born 06 December 1840 in South Carolina, and died 29 May 1905 in Newkirk, Kay County, Oklahoma. He enlisted with the 47th Kentucky Infantry, Company D.
