SAMUEL L HENSLEY son of HENRY HALEN HENSLEY and MARY W HOWARD was born 06 February 1804 in North Carolina, and died 28 August 1887 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married (1) MARTHA STANTON Bef. 1822, daughter of UNKNOWN SON TIPTON. She was born 1805 in North Carolina, and died 13 August 1880 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married (2) MARTHA CARTER “Patsey” TIPTON Bef. 1837. She was born 1814 in North Carolina, and died 18 August 1883 in Harlan County, Kentucky.
