ROBERT
CLINTON GREEN was born 13
July 1903 in Cubbage, Bell County, Kentucky, and died 08 April 1979
in Bell County, Kentucky. He married ROSA M
HENSLEY 25 December 1922 in Cubbage, Bell County,
Kentucky, daughter of DAVID HENSLEY
and DORA HENSLEY. She was
born 04 March 1906 in Pansey, Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 17
March 1998 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee.

"Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at the
Chapel of Durham Funeral Home, Pineville for Robert Clinton Green 75,
Knoxville, formerly of Cubbage.
Green died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville. Burial will be
at Pineville Memorial Cemetery. The Revs. Cecil Edward Hensley and
Joshua Crockett Hensley will officiate.
In addition to his wife, Mrs Rose Hensley Green, Knoxville, Green is
survived by three children, Mrs. Lula Castle, Madisonville; Mrs. Inez
Jones, and Mrs. Betty Nickols, both of Knoxville.
A half sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, Tazwell, TN; and six
grandchildren also survive.
Green a retired miner was a member of the Cumberland Baptist Church,
Knoxville. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America,
Sons of the American Revolution, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
The family will receive friends after 1:00 PM today at Durham
Funeral Home. Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, is in charge of
arrangements."

are buried at the Burial: Pineville Cemetery, Pineville, Bell County,
