JOHN HANNAN/HANAN/HANONE, was born about 1797 at Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky and died 29 July 1831 while an early resident of Canton, Fulton, Illinois. He was the son of JAMES MARSHALL HANNAN and MARGARET MCFALL. He was enlisted in "Allen's First Rifle Regiment of Kentucky Volunteers". John Hannan married first SALLY SPRIGGS of Kentucky, second ELIZABETH NORTON of Kentucky. John Hannan is my 4th Great Grandfather.
