BENJAMIN HARRIS son of JOHN HARRIS and LUCY UNKNOWN was born 1778 in Virginia, and died 10 April 1861 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married (1) ELIZABETH WEAVER Bef. 1800. She was born 1778 in Charlotte County, Virginia, and died 1853 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married (2) SARAH BURKHART 1854 in Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of ISAAC BURKHART and MINERVA SMITH. She was born 1830 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 22 December 1901.
