Albert Boyd Williams Dies, Services Scheduled Monday
Funeral services for Albert Boyd Williams, 78, of 524 E. 14th, Stillwater, will be held at
10 a.m. Monday in the Strode Chapel.
The Rev. Joe Samuels of Perry will officiate and burial will be in Lanier Cemetery, under
direction of Strode's.
Williams, born Nov. 8, 1887 in Aurora, Mo., the son of John H. and Ellen Williams, died
Friday at a local retirement home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Marvin Williams, Jerry Williams, Alvin Osten, Ray Williams,
Jimmie Spillman and Lonnie Williams. Honorary pallbearers will include other grandsons, Eddie
Busch, Leo Lesh, Johnnie Sloan, Mike Williams, Eldon Spillman and Virgil Osten.
Williams was married to Jessie Crabtree in Stillwater on Nov. 8, 1905, she survives him.
A farmer, Williams had lived in and around Stillwater since 1893.
Other survivors are six sons, Earl of 501 W. Elm, Leo of Rt. 2, Lester of Perry, Wayne of
1405 Hartford, Billie of Rome, N.Y. and Mack of Wichita; five daughters, Mrs. Florence Spillman
of Perry, Mrs. Minnie Sloan of Perry, Mrs. Velma Combs of 815 Jefferson, Mrs. Martha Busch of
1124 Fern and Mrs. Lela Mae Lemon of Oklahoma City; 29 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren;
five brothers, L.E. "Boss" Williams, 321 Lowry; Joe Williams, Denver; H.W. Williams, 315 S.
Benjamin; John Williams, Anadarko and R.S. Williams, 1402 Springfield and one sister, Mrs.
Ollie Gasch, Palmdale, Calif.
