ARMS (Shield):

Azure a log in fess proper
CREST (Helmet):
On a torse of the colors two ash branches vert sprouting from the log of the shield
MANTLE (Decken):
Not deScribed (Mantling is seldom deScribed and usually takes the Tinctures of the Shield)

REFERENCE SOURCE:

ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Azure - (Means the Shield is Blue (Azure = Blue))
a Log in Fess - (Means a Log laying horizontally in the center (Fess) of the Shield)
Proper - (Means colored as a Log would appear naturally, using all of the colors required & not just the "Heraldic colors")

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
Two Ash Branches Vert - (Means 2 Green (Vert) Ash Branches)
Sprouting from the Log of the Shield - (Means the 2 Ash Branches are Sprouting from a Log like the one in the Shield & it's all affixed by the Torse (together with the Mantling) to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))

SYMBOLISM:
Log & Branches - (New life sprouting from the old)
Colors:
Azure (Blue) - (Loyalty and truth)
Or (Gold) - (Generosity)
Vert (Green) - (Hope, joy and sometimes loyalty in love)

Above Blazon (written description) only applies to large Emblazon (drawing).
