Note: In many countries in the middle ages, Germany for one, every free man was allowed to bear a Coat of Arms.
The following is an excerpt from Fr. Conrad Keller's book, "The German colonies in South Russia 1804 to 1904",
describing each dwelling;
"On the gable is the family Coat of Arms, with the house number and the family name".
Click on "Thumbnails" above for larger drawings.
All these Coat of Arms drawings were made by us from recorded Blazons (written descriptions) in books of Heraldry.
Most of the Surnames listed have multiple Blazons recorded in various books - for example, there are 54 different
Coat of Arms Blazons for the Fischer name alone in just one book (the Armorial General by J.B. Rietstap).
We make no claim to be the bearers of any of these Arms.
