Notes for Sluman F. & Margaret Huldah (Family)
They had two sons, Nelson and William (Maxine, p. 201). The Cleveland Genealogy (Margaret is No. 7354) has them as Charles Nelson (married Ada Marrinor) and William Henry. It also lists a daughter, Estella (married Gilbert Keath). The Cleveland Genealogy has Estella dying in Webster Co., NE. William is listed with his parents in Riverton in the 1880 census. Nelson came west too.

Maxine writes on p. 51, "Errol said in a letter, 'I can remember my Dad's cousin Nels Bartlett who lived in Bladen. I was there several times and Nels stopped in Riverton to see his Aunt Harriet.

'Nels Bartlett's daughter [Myrtle] married G. P. Cather, a captain in the Army who was killed in France in World War I. I attended the memorial serivce with my parents. Aunt Mabel went to the memorial service also.

'Willa Cather wrote a book 'One of Ours' which was supposed to be about G. P. Cather who was killed in the service.'"
