OBITUARY
Samue McGinty
"LeMars Globe-Post: Samue McGInty, 78, a resident of Sioux City for the last 49 years, died Friday at his home, 1214 Eighth street, after a brief sickness.
He was born November 29, 1870, in Cascade, Ia., and moved to Sioux City from LeMars.
Survivors include the widow, Ellen; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Hinds of Sioux City; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Peetzuch of Los Angeles.
Funeral services were held at 9:00 a.m., Monday (today) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rev. Edward C. Lilly officiated. Burial was in Calvary cemetry.
The rosary was recited at 8 p.m., Saturday at the residence. THe body remained there until time of services. Larkin's funeral home had charge of arrangements."
