[929] Per te Mower County News, 1 Nov 1934, page 2 column 4, Mrs. Mary Gahagan (Mary Donahue) was born in Cincinnati OH 3 July 1859 and came to Austin MN in the fall of 1878 and was married at that time to Owen Gahagan with who she
moved to Dell Rapids, SD where they remained for 10 years. Five children remain: Alice and Mae of St. Cloud, Mrs. Genevieve Gibbons of Chicago and Glenn and Thomas of this city. Two sonds and a duaghter, Joseph, William and
Kathryn preceeded their mother in death. Mrs. Gahagan leaves a sister, Mrs. J. J. McBride of Meadow, SD, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mrs. Gahagan was a member of the St. Augustine Church and of the Rosary Society.

[931] Was not listed with parents in the 1880 US census, Lansing, Mower, MN, pg 579B. Found her married to Owen Gahagan. Birth in 1870 census IL, Birth in 1880 and 1900 census OH. In the 1860 Census for Stratton Township, Paris
Post Office, Edgar County, IL she appears as 3 years old.
