Search the Web Site When doing a search, if you want to search for a particular person, use the PicoSearch search engine. Be sure to include quotation marks around the persons name. This will cause the search engine to search it as a phrase. Searching without the quotation marks will cause the search engine to search for any of the terms searched for. Also, if the person you are searching for has a middle name, be sure to search both with and without the middle name as well as with the middle initial as they may appear on the site in any one or more of these formats.Examples: A search for "John Smith" will result in hits for John Smith only. A search for "John W. Smith" will result in hits for John W. Smith only. A search for "John William Smith" will result in hits for John William Smith only. A search for John Smith (without quotes) will result in hits for any John or any Smith. If you want to do a surname search, then use the Pinpoint search engine. The Pinpoint search engine will return all hits in multiple pages, however you cannot do a search as a phrase on it. NOTE: Pinpoint coming soon!
