While digging through boxes in the attic I found an old box of
correspondence from 1979. I wrote to a number of Stitt's asking for
family history and received some replies. These are not in my Stitt
line but might help someone else. Since these people were kind enough
to share their information with me and 20 years have gone by, I don't
think these individuals would mind my passing this information on to the
Stitt List.
