Comments by Nancy Agnew PECHE:
Alice KREIGHBAUM was the daughter of
Jacob W. KREIGHBAUM [c.1810 - 1871] and his
second wife, Mahala FEATHER [1825 - 1901].
Mahala is said to be buried at Greenlawn - and
thus may well be the Mahala whose gravestone
is pictured above. Jacob W. KREIGHBAUM and
his first wife, Elizabeth DREECE (died 1841), were
buried in the Lutheran Evangelical Cemetery
(aka "Old Lutheran Cemetery" - see preface note above).
The fate of their tombstones is unknown.
