Sarah Jane Meyers.

  Sarah Jane Meyers died suddenly at 7:45 o'clock this morning at her home 312 south East Seventh street. She had been complaining for some time. She did not sleep well Friday night and this morning, saying she was tired, she went to lie down for a short time. Five minutes later she was dead.
  Mrs. Meyers was eighty-five years old. She was born in Clayborn county, Tennessee, in 1832, was married there and came here with her family in 1868, since which time Daviess county had been her home. She was the mother of eleven children, ten of whom are living. They are Simon Meyers, Louis Meyers, Mary Wise, Martha Blines, Vina Compton, Nelson Meyers, Minerva Hixon, Rhoda Henry, Catherine Brummett and James Meyers.
  Mrs. Meyers was a member of the Baptist church with her membership at Veale's Creek. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
