Emily Randall Gregory

An only child, Emily Randall Gregory was adored and pampered by her parents. That meant many trip to the photo studio.

Sunnyside, the Gregory family home in Cooperstown, N.Y., was built in 1863/64 at 73 Chestnut St. According to records maintained by the New York State Historical Association, it passed through the hands of several owners before David Henderson Gregory purchased it in 1884. Its previous owner had used the property as a boarding house. It was here that Sara Ann Limberger Randall, Emily Gregory's mother, died.

The Gregorys sold the house in 1917, moving to Virginia Beach to be near their only daughter, Emily Holland.
The house no longer stands. It was demolished in 1929 and replaced by a Chevrolet dealership.
