William born about 1796 in England or Virginia to Samuel Jones & Celia Creech. Warren Reid's book says England, but children who lived until 1880 both put Virginia for birthplace of both parents.

111 WILLIAM JONES, born in England, married (1) Jane (?) Jones, (2) Matilda (?) Jones. William died Sep 8, 1859 Gage County, Neb., and is buried in the Jones homestead cemetery located in the NE 1/4 Sec 15, Midland Township, along Salt Creek, north of Beatrice, Neb. Five children were bom of William and Jane's marriage: Elizabeth, John, EVALINA, Samuel and Isaac Hendron Jones.

112 JANE JONES, born in England, married William Jones, and died Aug. 14th, 1848. Jane the mother of all of William'* children is buried in the Jones homestead cemetery, NE 1/4 Sec 15, Midland Township, Gage County, Neb.

113 Matilda Jones, born in 1815, married William Jones in 1849. She died July 25, 1858, Gage County, Neb., and is buried in the Jones homestead cemetery.
