1784 - Martha Jones born in Montgomery Co, Virginia to Samuel Jones & Celia Creech.

1790 census - lost for all of Virginia. Destroyed in August 1814 by British troops.

1793 - Grayson Co., Virginia was created from parts of Wythe County, Virginia.

Aug 20, 1793 - Samuel Jones entered 50 acres on Beaver Creek, Grayson County, Virginia. (Book A, page 2)
