214 EDWARD DOLAN REID, born Dec 2, 1895, Republic County, Kansas south of Chester, Neb., mar. Velma Carrie of Beatrice in 1926. He farmed his fathers farm for three years then moved to Denver to run a feed and fur pelt business and attended a barber school. Following a separation and divorce from Velma, Ed sold electrical appliances in a Cozad, Neb store eventually moving to Lima, Ohio where he worked at the Elks Club, for a number of years prior to his retirement. He died Jan 11, 1972, at Wilber, Neb., and is buried in the Reid family plot. Oak Grove Cemetery, DeWitt, Neb., near his parents. 158/159
