Info from Linda Pfeifer Dodds - Irma Pfeifer Mankamyer (Ervin's daughter) said that Ervin had several teeth pulled and died from an infection he developed later. He had to walk from the farm to the train station, take the train to the dentist (where?), got his teeth pulled, took the train back and walk back to the farm.
