of Johan Martin Weller of Rückersdorf, Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany

There is a record of a Johann Georg Pfeifer listed in the publication "Missing Young Men of Wuerttemberg, Germany, 1807: Some Possible Immigrants to America" who may be this Johann Georg. |

| Georg Michael Pfeifer | George Michael Pfeifer was born on
August 11, 1792 in Wolfartswinden, Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany. His father deserted
the family sometime between the winter of 1793 to December 1795, and his mother
took the children and went to live with her parents in Rückersdorf, Ansbach,
Bavaria, Germany. Michael married Johanna "Hannah" Elisabetha Keim
on May 28, 1821 in Neuses, Sommersdorf, Bavaria. They had at least 5 and
possibly 6 children, including son Johann George Keim, who was born in 1815 when
they were not married. At the time of their marriage, Georg Michael was a farmer
in Neuses, Sommersdorf, Bavaria, and they had children born in Neuses in 1825,
1827 & 1829. Georg Michael Pfeifer declared that he was his father of Johann
Georg Pfeifer in Immelsdorf on March 27, 1828. "Michael & Hannah Pfeifer"
are listed in the records of the Salem Evangelical
Church in Illinois as being parents of Johann George (Keim) Pfeifer, and also
in other family records. George Michael Pfeifer died on August 24, 1829 in
Bavaria, Germany. I do not know when Hannah died. When Michael Pfeifer died
the children were age 8 days to 14 years old, so it is possible that she remarried.
