Ira Pfeifer ObitIra Pfeifer died October 30, 1971 in Ft. Bragg, NC. His obituary reads: IRA P. PFEIFER - Sgt. Ira P. Pfeifer, U.S. Army Ret., 65, of 2508 Ramsey St., died Saturday. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM at Robers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel by Revs. Neil Younce and James R. Black. Burial will be with military honors in LaFayette Memorial Park. He was a veteran of 28 years in the Army, including duty in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a mason, a member of Creasy Proctor Lodge. Surviving are his widow, Eleanor Louise Ring Pfeifer; three daughters, Mrs. Max Northup of Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Karen Marshall of Fayetteville, and Miss Tracye Len Pfeifer of the home; two sons, Ervin Pfeifer of Sioux Falls, SD, and Ronald Gene Pfeifer of Bluff City, Tenn; a stepson, Richard Mills, of Alexandria, Va., and a sister, Mrs. Jack Mankamyer, of Wahoo, Neb. The family will recieve friends at Rogers and Breece Funeral home today 7 to 9 pm.
