> kari,
> you have done an excellent job of documenting your information. I wished I had your skills to put my line on the computer. Anyhow, I have some info you might be interested in -- Anna Victoria Potts who was married to " Cy " Northup was my great aunt. Isaac Mitchell Potts was my great grandfather. If you would like to expand your database to include some more info on the Potts line I would be happy to round it up.My grandfather ( George Washington Potts), went to live with Anna and Cy Northup when he was very young.

I am always happy to help another family researcher!

George Washington Potts married Amy Eliza Acteson Page on July 19, 1930 in Lane County, OR She was born May 29, 1871 in Little Sumico, Oconto County, WI to James Alexander Acteson and Mary Melissa Plouff. Amy was first married to Alonzo Newton Page (they had 9 children and Alonzo died in 1916, she was the oldest sibling of my grandfather, Albert Edward Acteson. My grandmother, Rose Margaret Mortenson died in 1922 when my father was only 3, so Amy help to raise most of Albert's 6 children, plus her own, the last of her 9 children was born in 1914. She must of been quite the women. We often wondered where and how she met George, we do know she was very active in her church, as my aunts remembered that. They also remembered George. I only have one aunt still living, she was 91 this year, the rest are all gone.

Amy died October 18, 1939 in Cottage Grove, Lane County, OR. and is buried in Shields Cemetery, lot 42, space 10, located in Cottage Grove.

Let me know if you are interested in any more than that. I correspond with a couple of great granddaughter's of Amy, whom I didn't meet until I started doing my "Acteson" family research, this has been great fun.

Happy researching! Karen Acteson Schlichte
