Windsor - Funeral services for Conrad Clouse, age 82, who died at
his home in Windsor Friday night, were held Monday afternoon at the Congregational
Church with Rev. John Rothenberger in charge. Mr. Clouse was born in Norka, Russia
Feb. 21, 1849. He was married to Elizabeth Jager in 1890, and the following year
they came to America, locating in Nebraska. In 1902 they came to Colorado, and
farmed near Windsor until 1917, when they moved to Windsor.
He is survived
by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Catherine Foos, Mrs. Dorothy Clouse,
both of Grand Island, Nebr.; Elizabeth Cadwalder of Windsor, Adam, Pete, John
and Henry Clouse and Mrs. Marie Maul, all of Windsor; also by a stepdaughter Mrs.
William Thoenneses; also 33 grandchildren and three grandchildren. A daughter
Anna Propp, died in March, and another daughter, Mrs. John Jacoby, of Denver,
died in January 1930.

of Conrad Clouse, which was held at the Congregational church Monday afternoon,
included Mr. and Mrs. Foos and son, John Schleiger, Dora Clouse and daughter,
Grand Island, Nebr., John Jacoby children of Denver, and Mrs. Northrop of Denver.

Dies Here Wednesday
Harry Cadwalader, 73, of Windsor, died at the Weld County
General Hospital in Greeley Wednesday. He h ad been a patient at the hospital
since Dec. 30.
Cadwalader was born Nov. 28 1879 at Georgetown. He married
Elizabeth Clouse at Idaho Springs in 1907 and they moved to Weld County in 1908
Mrs. Cadwalader died in 1948.
He operated blacksmith shops at Severance and
Windsor. For a number of years he was sales manager for the late Charles Peterson,
Windsor Ford Dealer.
Later he was employed by the state highway department
and the Great Western Sugar company.
For many years he was a member of the
Windsor Volunteer Fire department and the Woodmen of the World.
He is survived
by a son, Harry Cadwalader, and two grandchildren. He is also survived by two
sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Wills of Santa Clara, California, and Mrs. Ruth Yelland of
Pasadena and a brother, Arthur, of Castro Valley, Calif.
Services at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Windsor Methodist Church. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements
by Richards Mortuary.
