James Clark married Jennie Seaborn about 1790 in New Jersey. They had at least 5 children. The family is listed on the 1830 census of Yates, Orleans Co., New York. They emigrated from New York to Miami Co., Ohio about 1835, and they moved from Ohio to Logan Co., Illinois about 1837. Internet trees list the death of James Clark as June 6, 1847 or February 15, 1851. I have not found him on the 1850 census at this time.

Sarah ClarkSarah "Sallie" Clark was born about 1790 in Essex Co., New Jersey. Sallie married Clarkson Freeman Brooks about 1807, probably in New Jersey or New York. Census and other records indicate they had as many as 15 children. I know birth dates for possibly 12 of them, and there are two sons named Clarkson & a second son named David that are listed in a family writeup that are in addition to the ones I have in my data. Clarkson F. Brooks is listed as a buyer of lands in the Holland purchase in New York in 1808. The family is listed on the 1810 census of Riga, Genesee Co., New York and on the 1820 census of Gains, Genesee Co., New York. Orleans County was formed from part of Genesee Co., New York in 1824, and Clarkson Brooks is listed as a head of household on the 1830 census of Gaines, Orleans, Co., New York. The family moved from New York to Miami Co., Ohio about 1835, and then moved from Ohio to Illinois about 1837. There is a land purchase records for Clarkson F. Brooks in Illinois dated October 10, 1839, and they are listed on the 1840 & 1850 censuses of Logan Co., Illinois. They moved from Illinois to Ohio between 1850 to 1856, and they are listed on the 1860 census of the City of Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio. Clarkson Freeman Brooks died on January 24, 1865 in Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio. Sarah "Sallie" Clark Brooks died on September 4, 1866 in Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio.

Catharine ClarkCatharine Clark was born about 1795 in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. Katharine married Charles S. Jones, and they had a daughter named Armilla who was born in New York in 1823. They probably traveled with Katharine's father, and went to Miami Co., Ohio about 1835 and Logan Co., Illinois about 1837. The family emigrated to Illinois by 1850, and they are listed on the 1850 census of Logan Co., Illinois. Katharine Clark Jones died sometime after 1850 and probably before 1860 in Logan Co., Illinois. Charles is listed on the 1860 census of Mt. Pulaski, Logan Co., Illinois, living with the family of George & Margaret Wolfe.

John ClarkJohn Clark was born February 2, 1799 in New Jersey. John married Permelia Ann Price about 1828, and they had 11 children born between 1829 to 1845. The family is listed on the 1850 census of Logan Co., Illinois, living next door to Solomon & Jane (Brooks) Steenrod. Jane is the daughter of John's sister Sarah "Sallie" Clark Brooks. John Clark died on March 23, 1855 in Logan Co., Illinois. Permelia had died the same month on March 9, 1855. Both are buried in the Mt. Pulaski Cemetery, Logan Co. Illinois.
