Charlotte Ann McKendry was born on October 6, 1863 in Adams Co., IN. She was
the daughter of John Alexander McKendry & Rebecca Reynolds

Ann McKendry on November 8, 1878 in Rooks Co., Kansas, & they had 6
children. The family is listed on the 1880 census of Lowell Twp., Rooks
Co., KS. Based on birthplaces of their children, they moved from Kansas
to Golden, Jefferson Co., CO sometime between 1882 to 1885. They lived there
until about 1889, and then moved from Colorado to Washington sometime between
1889 to 1893. I have not found Daniel, Charlotte, or their 3 younger children
on the 1900 census at this time, but their 2 older children aren working
in Walla Walla Co., Washington that year. Daniel Taylor Northup died
on July 10, 1906 in Walla Walla, Washington. He is buried in Vancouver,
Washington. Charlotte is as widowed and head of household on the 1910 census
of Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. At that time she is listed as having
6 births with 5 surviving children, and the 3 younger children are all single
and still living with her. She is probably the Charlotte A. Northup
who was married in Multnomah Co., Oregon on March 4, 1912, but the database
on www. ancestry.com does not list who her spouse was. Charlotte died

| John M. Northup | John Monroe Northup was born on June 01, 1880 in Rooks
Co., Kansas. He is listed with his parents at the age of 1/2 on the
1880 census of Lowell Twp., Rooks Co., KS. John moved with his parents from
Kansas to Golden, Jefferson Co., CO sometime between 1882 to 1885. The family
lived there until about 1889, and then moved from Colorado to Washington
sometime between 1889 to 1893. John is listed at age 20 on the 1900 census
of Small Pct, Walla Walla Co., WA, working as an employee with his sister
Ella in the household of William Rieser, but I have not found his parents
and other siblings that year. John married Bessie May Johnson on
July 9, 1905 and they had 4 children. The family is listed on the 1910 census
Preston Pct, Clark Co., WA, and on the 1920 census of Pioneer, Clark Co.,
WA. John is listed as a patient on the 1930 census of Western State Hospital
in Ft. Steilacoom, Pierce Co., WA. His marital status is listed as married
at that time, but I have not been able to find Bessie & the children.

| Ella Northup | Ella Elise Northup was born on September 27, 1882 in Kansas.
She moved with her parents from Colorado to Washington sometime between
1889 to 1893. She is listed at age 17 on the 1900 census of Small Pct, Walla
Walla Co., WA, working as an cook with her brother John in the household
of William Rieser. Ella married Herman L. Campbell about 1903 and
they had at least one daughter, Maleta, born in 1905. They are listed on
the 1910 census of 3rd ward Vancouver, Clark Co., WA, witih Herman's occupation
listed as Clerk, Grocery Store. Ella Elise Northup Campbell died on October
31, 1918, probably in Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington. Herman remarried
Ada Francis Blystone Bridenstine between 1918-1920. Ada was a widow with
5 children from her first marriage. Herman and Ada are listed on the 1920
& 1930 censuses of Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington. In 1920 they are
listed with his daughter Maleta and her son Fred, and were owners of a grocery

| Amy Northup | Amy Estella Northup was born on August 30, 1886 in Golden,
Jefferson Co., CO. She moved with her parents to Washington sometime
between 1889 to 1893. I have not found Amy, her parents, or 2 of her siblings
on the 1900 census at this time, but her 2 older siblings are working in
Walla Walla Co., Washington that year. Her father died in July 1906 when
Amy was age 19, and Amy is listed at age 23 with her widowed mother on the
1910 census of Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. At that time Amy's occupation
was Clerk, Department Store. Amy married Ralph E. (Emory or Emerson)
Butler on May 4, 1916 and they had at least 2 children. Ralph's WWI
draft registration card, signed September 12, 1918 lists his address as
105-1/2 12th Street, Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. Amy E. Butler is listed
as his closest relative, and he is working as an Insurance Salesman for
the C. H. Weston Company. Ralph & Amy are listed on the 1920 & 1930
census of Portland, Multnomah Co., OR. In 1920 Ralph was a telegram salesman
& Amy was a saleswoman in a candy shop, and in 1930 Ralph is a Fire
Insurance Salesman, and Amy is home with 2 sons. Amy Estella Northup

| Ira Northup | Ira Daniel Northup was born on May 04, 1889
in Golden, Jefferson Co., CO. He moved with his parents to Washington
sometime between 1889 to 1893. I have not found Ira, his parents, or 2 of
his siblings on the 1900 census at this time, but his 2 older siblings are
working in Walla Walla Co., Washington that year. His father died in July
1906 when Ira was age 16, and Ira is listed at age 20 with his widowed mother
on the 1910 census of Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. At that time Ira's
occupation was listed as Engineer, Steam. Ira married Marie Coffey
on August 25, 1913. I have not been able to locate Ira or Marie on the 1920
or 1930 censuses at this time. Ira Daniel Northup died on January 06,
1977 in Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. Marie Coffey Northup died on
December 20, 1885, also in Portland, OR. Note that there is also an Ira
J. Northup who was born in Kansas in 1890 who was in Magee, Yuma Co., CO
in 1920 & in Rooks Co., KS in 1930 who is not the same person as Ira
Daniel Northup. Ira J. Northup was the son of Stuard Ellsworth Northup &

| Jay Northup | Jay Elmer Northup was born on July 02, 1893 in Washington.
I have not found Jay, his parents, or 2 of his siblings on the 1900 census
at this time, but his 2 older siblings are working in Walla Walla Co., Washington
that year. His father died in July 1906 when Jay was age 13, and Jay is
listed at age 16 with his widowed mother on the 1910 census of Portland,
Multnomah Co., Oregon. At that time Jay's occupation was listed as Teamster,
Wholesale. Jay married Vincennes Verna Bonsignor on November 03,
1917, and they had two children. I have not found the family on the 1920
census, but they had children born in California in 1919 & 1924. The
family is listed on the 1930 census of District 231 San Francisco, San Francisco
Co., CA. Either Vincennes died or they divorced sometime between 1930 to
1960, because Jay remarried Gracie L. "Darthy" Byars about
1960 in Oregon. Jay Elmer Northup died on April 1, 1975 in Portland,
Multnomah Co., WA. At the time of his death his wife's name was listed
