Hi Kari, I have Mary Springfield b.Nov. 8, 1825 d. April 3, 1885 daughter of Henry, Married Henry Hester b.Sept. 15, 1822 d.may 20, 1904. They are buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church. I have pictures of there markers if you want me to send them to you.
I found in the old pendleton web site that said this Henry Hester married to someone else named Mary. I showed it to Joyce and she said she had got her info from some lady that was dead now and thought what she had was right. I looked the bobo in the book. Pinckney did have a daughter named Mary but like you said it don't match. She was born 1838.
The family bible has Malissa Evaline born Aug. 28, 1821. Her grave marker has Malissa E. Did I send you a picture of her grave marker? It is so warn it looks like 1826, but is probably 1821. The paper I got from Pat Springfield Has Malessia Evaline Born Aug. 28, 1821. I don't guess it matters how you spell it.
Thanks for all of the info! Brenda
