Hi all,
Well there are two Robert C. Mann's in Randolph Co and they're both about the same age.

This is Jane and her Robert whom I think his middle name was Crawford because they had a son Robert Crawford Mann Jr.

Jane's husband did not die in the Civil War, she has died sometime between 1860 and 1870 and they moved over to around Carmi, White Co Illinois where I found Robert and the kids in 1870.

Could he be the son of William M Mann and Mary Jane Beattie? Was Sarah Beattie and Mary Jane sisters? Sarah Beattie married one of our Thompson boys
This Robert Mann I don't believe was married previously and not the son of John Mann, the Robert who died in the Civil War.

Also, believe I have found another Pressly/Pressley dtr of Samuel and Elizabeth Thompson

Mary b abt 1790 Abbeville SC died 20 Mar 1854 Randolph Co ILL married John Baird Jr. b abt 1788 SC died 8 Jul 1851 Randolph Co ILL both buried in Union Cemetery, Sparta. They too were in Preble Ohio and had 13 kids; Samuel Pressley Baird 1811 married Margaret McKee; John P married Frances Jane Goddard; Elizabeth married Thomas Morrow; Nancy married Virgil Wells; Robert P; Margarette or Marguerite married William A Johnson; Mary Ann married James B Parks; Louisa L married Ephraim Milton Woodside; James B; Alexander Porter; George C married Bethia Benson. The Baird's arrived in Randolph Co from Preble Co Ohio the same time that your Robert and Elizabeth Clark Pressley arrived in Randolph Co from Preble Co Ohio.

It makes me wonder if Samuel Pressly/Pressley and Elizabeth Thompson went with the kids to Ohio. Might want to do some researching in Preble Co Ohio land deeds and probate records to see if there's anything there.
