she still owned the home but was living in the nursing home. the only directory
that had a time of year gave November but not sure they came out at the same time
every year. But she must have gotten married the last of 1951 or 1952 since George
lived alone in 1951. I didn't find any Abbett listed other than for 1951 because
a lot of pages are missing. At least this says she was widowed. I'll check the
other two years when I can. God Bless.

Michael Augustine Busch is my Great Grand Father. From what I am now hearing from
my cousins who knew the line Michael and Sara never had any kids them selves.
This is a work in progress because I just discovered, Sat 9 Mar, that Michael
Busch married again after Anna passed away. My dad is 94 and has never mentioned
this to me so it was kinda suprised when I found them on the 1920 census. Fired
off some email and sure enough they were married. Here is what I have so far and
more is coming.

If you check for Frank Pearce on Roots Web you will find another cousin from this

There must have been rabbit blood in this line (Ha).

Hi Kari,
> Love what you have on your site. Thanks for sharing. In the
letters from Stella's daughter she says Alta Fern married George Leach first and
then a man named Moore. Her and George had one son, George Francis. She died August
10, 1937, Wichita, Ks. Her obit says T. E. Moore was her husband.
>
> In 1945 Hattie was listed in her Mother's obit as Mrs. E. M. Abbett and in
June 1953 in Grandpa Michael Busch's obit she is listed as Mrs. Hattie Huenergardt.
Both have her living in Wichita, Ks. so I would assume she was married here. I'm
not sure if we can still search the records but I will check. I know they said
on divorce records we couldn't search unless we knew the exact date. That was
what I wanted to find out on my Dad.
