From Harrison Genealogy Repository:

The Tunis Hood book states Isaiah Harrison was married three times. The name of his first wife and probably mother of several of his oldest children is unknown. Second wife was Elizabeth Whittenburgh, probably the mother of most of his children. Third wife was Mary Jones, no record of children by this marriage. Buried with his second and third wives in Harrison Cemetery, near Harrison School, six miles south of Greenville, Tennessee in well marked graves. From his will, and other reliable sources, the probable children are identified.

Kari,

I have came across some information that may help all of up on John Kelley Jr. death date. I will try to scan you a copy of the papers that I have on John. For now it says " Monday 22nd July 1822, On motion of Isaiah Harrison administrator is granted him on the estate of John Kelley dec. and the same Isaiah Harrison having entered into Bond in the sum of Two thousand dollars with Jeremiah Harrison and John Meccepur". It goes on but it is hard to read. It tells us that John Kelley had to be dead before July 22, 1822 because they would not had requested a motion on his estate. That means any children that is born more than 1822 or early 1823. If there was any more than Jesse, George, John, Alfred, James, Mathis, and Harrison. I think it might be Cinthia who was born in 1822, I think. I am still checking on Cinthia and will let you know.

Abigal 1824, Hugh 1827, and Susan 1828 could not be his children. Did I send you any pictures on the headstone on the Harrisons, that is in Greene Co., TN.

Neil

From book on the George Family:
"Michael (George) married Nancy Kelley on January 13, 1828. Nancy was born April 23, 1802, and died October 4, 1844. She was the daughter of John Kelley Jr. and Eleanor (Harrison) Kelley. The Kelley and Harrison families were early settlers in Greene County (Tennessee). Her grandfather, John Kelley Sr., came from Ireland and was a teacher. The Harrison family came from England and settled on Long Island, New York. They eventually migrated to Virginia and Tennessee. The history of the Harrison family is recorded in "Settlers by the Long Grey Trail" by J. Houston Harrison."
