Subject: Wandell family in Moravian Cemetery

Hi, Kari,

My husband, Michael and I went over to Moravian today to see what we could do for you. I printed out all the Wandel and Wandell family buried there. Of course, you will remember that the kiosk database only has 20th century deaths. Here is what I found:

Wandel, Clarence H. DOD: Oct 8, 1935 section C, grave 116
Wandel, Daniel DOD: Jan 19, 1916 section O, grave 287
Wandel, ELiza DOD: Mar 18, 1926 section O, grave 287
Wandel, Emma L. DOD: Aug 11, 1935 section C, grave 63
Wandel, Horace DOD Aug 4, 1954 section O, grave 287
Wandel, Minnie DOD May 10, 1942 section C, grave 70 & 116
Wandel, Peter S. DOD Feb 3, 1908 section O, grave 186
Wandel, Smith S. DOD Jan 21, 1925 section C, grave 70 & 116
Wandel, Walter I., Jr. DOD Sep 6, 1916 section C, grave 9
Wandel, William M. DOD May 24, 1917 section C, grave 63
Wandel, William S. DOD Jul 11, 1915 section C, grave 70 & 116
Wandell, Alice DOD Dec 7, 1976 section O, grave 186
Wandell, Charlotte Noe DOD Jun 22, 1965 section VII, subdivision H, grave 33
Wandell, Harold DOD Mar 15, 1955 section O, grave 186
Wandell, James V. DOD Jun 26, 1923 section O, grave 186
Wandell, John Casman DOD Jun 24, 1947 section VII, subdivision H, grave 33
Wandell, Kate E. DOD Feb 28, 1963 section O, grave 287
Wandell, Stillborn DOD Jun 5, 1909 section O, grave 287
Wandell, Susan DOD Mar 14, 1923 section O, grave 186
Wandell, Walter DOD Mar 15, 1955 section O, grave 186

The kiosk printer prints out a sheet for each of these names. In addition to what I transcribed above, the sheet has a map of the cemetery with a general section marking for where the grave is. It is not exactly detailed. If you want these sheets, I'll be glad to mail them to you.

Now, having said that...I found only some of these graves and I took pictures which are attached to this email. BUT...as Michael called them...we found BONUS gravestones - those whose names didn't come up at the kiosk, but we found anyway. So, I hope they will help you, too.

Please let me know if you want these printouts. And enjoy the pictures.
