Do you have a church affiliation for these Wandells? Do you happen to know what they did? What part of the island they lived in?

I have Ann Rooke, b. after July 31, 1784 married to a John Wandell, Jr. on July 29, 1804. They had at least two children, Joshua and George Wandell.

Hope to hear from you soon!

14. ANN6 ROOKE (AMOS5, THOMAS "THE IMMIGRANT"4, GEORGE "THE MERCHANT"3, GEORGE "THE QUAKER MINISTER"2, THOMAS "THE ELDER"1) was born Aft. July 31, 1784. She married JOHN WENDEL(WANDEL), JR. July 29, 1804 in Staten Island, New York.

Notes for ANN ROOKE:
Ann is the twin of George.

As of June 27, 1999, we think that George and Ann are not twins, but were baptized on the same day. On the land grant document only a Fanny and George were mentioned as dependants.

Children of ANN ROOKE and JOHN WENDEL(WANDEL) are:
Mentioned in Amos Rooke's will as "Joshua Warring."
