I am a professional genealogist doing work for a client who is a descendant of Samuel Wood of Staten Island who married Aletta Letitia Burbank (born about 1808). Her father was Jacob Burbank--and I believe her mother was Ann.
Looks like the families are connected to yours.

My client has given me permission to share info with you. Kindly see below...
WE HAVE ALETTA LETITIA. TOMBSTONE IN FOUNTAIN CEMETERY SAYS SHE WAS BORN ON 9 DEC. 1809
abt 1825 - daughter [ALETTA] Letitia married Samuel Wood [A BLACKSMITH]
ALETTA AND SAMUEL'S OLDEST CHILD IN THE 1850 CENSUS WAS CATHERINE, AGE 24, SO THE 1825 DATE IS PROBABLY CLOSE.
ALETTA WOOD GRANTEE AND GRANTORS JACOB G. BURBANCK AND MARTHA (HIS WIFE) AND OTHERS (A DEED TRANSFERRAL IN S.I.]
I have census info for Woods, not Burbanks. For a long time, I thought Aletta was a Van Clief, and only recently did I discover I had been looking up the wrong tree. (It was her daughter who married a Van Clief.)
Have you dipped into Staten Island online records? I found them very helpful.
Let me know if you need more info.
