to birthplaces I have for their children, they lived on the Rustand farm with
Gulbrand's parents through 1762, but moved to the Lunde farm with them in 1763,
Gulbrand & Ingeborg are listed on the Lunde Farm, Wige (Viker), Buskerkud,
Norway on the 1801 census, with their son Asle Gulbrandsen Lunde & his family.
Asle had signed a contract in 1792 agreeing to the care and support of his parents
for the rest of their lives in exchange for half of the Lunde farm. Gulbrand

In 1749, Gulbrand had a disagreement with his younger brother Endre, and Gulbrand and his family moved to the Rustand farm, where they lived for 14 years. When Gulbrand's father died in 1755, Gulbrand & his siblings inherited the Lunde farm. He and his brother Endre had an agreement to pay their sister Randi her share of the inheritance and operate the farm as a partnership - this they did successfully and they bought more land at Gravli. The disagreement with Endre was settled in 1763, and Gulbrand and his family moved back to the the Lunde farm. The farm was debt-free and prosperous in 1773. Kari Gulbrandson who married Lars Lunde and also settled in Hayward, and also
Pastor Amund Gulbrandson Lunde (born 1874) who settled in Great Falls, Montana.
