Hi Kari, I am a descendant from Alanson Wilbur & Sally Moore. I started looking at the Moore line hoping to find Sally. Alanson's nephew Russell married Esther Moore (a descendant of Elisha & Esther). The Wilbur family intermarried a lot so I was hoping to find Sally or clues among them. So far not yet. The information that I have came from a family genealogy done in 1956. Unfortunately, there are no sources listed but I did get his
research notes, so I at least know what he thinking when he made the assumptions.

I think that I may have found Rockwell in 1870 & 1880 Census.According to the family lore, from a third marriage to a women by the name of Anna, there were two more children: Sarah & Solomon. They both moved to Oregon after Rockwell's death (9 July 1885 in Duran Wisconsin - Not sure where this came from). I have Solomon in 1900 living in Portland Oregon with his wife, children & mother Anna. According to the early Portland Deaths Solomon died 23 Feb 1910 age 49 Years which would be the right age.

I find Solomon in 1880 living in Duran Wisconsin living with his parents & sister. However, his father who is suppose to be Rockwell is listed as Robinson More. Robinson is 73 years old born in New York and has
an Occupation of a Shoemaker (which according to family lore this was also Rockwell's Occupation).

I then find Robinson & family in 1870 living in Durand. (Again Rockwell as Robinson?) I did not find a Robinson More in 1860 in Durand Wisconsin, so this would fit with Rockwell being in New York. I'm not
really sure that this is Rockwell, there needs to be more research done to see if this is the case. Let me know what you think.
