This is Captain Jonathan Knight 1781-1852 & Elizabeth Tucker Knight's 1788-1853 Great-Granddaughter, Amanda Cedell Knight (Miller) 1901-1973, on her horse Cracker at the farm in West Palm Beach Florida. Amanda Knight (Miller) and her husband Bart Miller 1898-1970, owned the land behind her. They built a horse race track on this land in the 1940's.Their cattle also grazed there. Today, in this same location, there are skyscrapers, businesses, and office buildings as far as the eyes can see. Photo taken in 1942.
This picture was contributed by David Clay. Amanda Cedell Knight (Miller) 1901-1973, is David Clay's Great-Grandmother. She is buried in Pricilla Baptist Church, Bell Florida.
