Colonel Knight Jr. died July 6, 1907 in Smithfield, R.I.  His wife Ellen Butler Daniels was born March 24, 1834 in Newport, Rhode Island and died July 10, 1911 in Smithfield, R.I.  #1954 Stephen D. Knight was born November 27, 1954 and died May 30, 1857.  #1955 Ellen Esther Knight married first about 1880 Thomas Frank Harris (born May 7, 1857; died September 7, 1900).  She had no children with Thomas F. Harris.  Ellen married second on February 10, 1904 in Smithfield, R.I. my great great granduncle Albert Orman Smith (born June 14, 1867; died July 5, 1907).  She had no children with Albert O. Smith.  Ellen finally married about 1910 presumably in Providence, R.I. Thomas Arnold Briggs (born about 1857; died September 24, 1928).  She had no children with Thomas Briggs.

Colonel Knight Jr. moved to Greenville, R.I. with his father when he was 12 years old and worked as a farmer. He built a
house near Greenville, R.I. after his marriage and went into the charcoal dealing business. He also bought farm land and
worked the farm in addition to his charcoal business until 1898, when he gave up the business due to poor health. He moved
to Stillwater, R.I. in February 1905 to reside with his daughter Ellen Esther Knight and son-in-law Albert O. Smith.
