BIOGRAPHY: The Watertown Re-Union, Wednesday, July 5, 1893
During the electric storm of last Monday lightning struck the house of Wm. F. Knight and tore the plastering off of six rooms, spoilt two chimneys and tore off the shingles on the roof for quite a space. It also damaged the cellar wall but no one was injured. During the same storm Mr. Knight had five lambs and four sheep killed in his pasture under a pine tree. Lightning split the tree in twain and the sheep were found dead under it.
