  Peleg Fiske, Jr.,Esq.- son of Peleg and Lydia (Sheldon) Fiske. Peleg was born 25 April 1769 in Scituate, RI (not shown, Arnold v.3). He was Justice of the Peace there for a number of years and later lived in Providence. He married first in 1789 Orpha Knight in Providence. He married second, at Cranston, RI, Amey Fenner 19 June 1822.
  The 1790 census shows him heading a household of three in Scituate and living near his father. The 1800 census shows him with a household of seven, living between his father and brother Sheldon. The 1810 census shows him heading a household of ten and living next to his uncle Caleb and other Fiskes. In 1820 he is heading a household of seven in Providence.
  He died in Johnston, RI., in his 57th year, "a firm believer in the final salvation of the whole human race," as reported in the Rhode Island American of 20 March 1826. His will, dated 9 March 1826, was proved 13 April of that year. It mentions wife Amy Fiske; sons Philip Fiske, Peleg Fiske, Jr., & Samuel A. Fiske; daughters Lydia Fiske under 18, Sophia Sheldon, Maria Henry & Clarissa Tanner.

Aprill the 22nd 1712 Richard Waterman the son of the the deceased Nathaniell Waterman of this Towne of Providence presented unto the Towne Councell of said Providence the last will of his said deceased father for their for their Examination thereof;  The said Councill having Examined the same, the three witnesses unto the said will having before the Councill made Oath thereunto the Councill approved thereof; the Record of the said will is as followeth:
  I Nathaniel Waterman of Providence in the Colony of Rhode Island being sick &  weake of  Body but through mercy of sound & perfect memory & calling to mind my Mortallity do make this my last will and Testament.

   Imprimis;  I Give to my loveing Grandsons the two Zuriel Watermans all my lands in the Place called Wesquenoid in the Colony aforesaid to be Equally devided  betwixt them my two said Grandsons (viz) Zuriell Waterman son of my son Richard Waterman, and Zuriell Waterman son of my son Nathaniel Waterman; and the said lands to be the only Proper use & behoofe of my aforesaid Grand sones their Heirs & Assignes for Ever;

   Item,  I Give to my son Richard Waterman Twenty acres of land to be taken up on the Easterne side of the seven mile line in said Providence for allowance of lands ye Providence men have taken up within Pautuxet lands, the said Twenty acres of land to be to him my said son  Richard Waterman his Heirs & Assignes forever.

   Item,  I Give to my son Benjamin Waterman all the Remaineing part of that is to be taken up in my Right according to the agreement of the men of Pautuxett & the Men of  Providence; the said lands to be to my said son Benjamin Waterman his Heirs & Assignes forever.

   But as to all my lands in Pautuxett, I have intended that it shall be to my son Nathaniel Waterman his Heirs & Assignes for  Ever; But Provided he Enjoyes & Possesses said lands without  much Trouble or charge, that then he shall alow his Brother Benjamin Waterman a quantetye of said land as he the said Nathaniel waterman shall thinke fitt to be unto my said son Benjamin Waterman his heirs and Assignes for Ever;
 
   In witness, and for confirmation of the above written I have hereunto set my hand and seale this Twenty second day of March Anno: One Thousand seven hundred and Eleven or twelve.

  Nathaniel Waterman-son of Richard and Bethia Waterman. Nathaniel was born in Salem, Ma, the record showing "Waterman, Natha, s. Richd, bp. 20:6m:1637 (20 August 1637). The following year his family moved to Providence, RI.
  He and Susanna Carder posted intentions of marriage in Providence on 14 March and again on 9 May 1662. In Providence, on 31 May 1666, he to the oath of allegiance to King Charles. Between 1668 and 1702 he was a Deputy eleven times. He was on the Town Council most years from 1676 to 1707.
  He stayed in Providence during King Philip's war and in August 1676 was voted a full share in the Indian captives.
  In February 1710/1, not long before his death, he deeded his homestead lot with all real and personal estate to his son Richard, half at that date and half at death himself and wife.
  He died at Providence 23 March 1711/2. His will dated 22 March 1711/2 was proved there one month later.

Susanna CARDER-7117 was born in 1643 in Glocester, Providence, Rhode Island. She died on 22 Mar 1712. Susanna married (MRIN:1120) Nathaniel WATERMAN-6783 on 14 Mar 1662/1663 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island.

112 Nicholas Sheldon, Jr. son of Nicholas and Abigail (Tillinghast) Sheldon.
  Nicholas was born in Providence, RI, in 1694. Evidence indicates he married his first cousin Penelope Arnold. He probably lived in that part of Providence which was set off as Cranston in 1754.
  The 1774 Rhode Island census shows a Nicholas Sheldon heading a household of 3 in Cranston. He is shown in 1777 Military census as aged 60+ and in the 1782 state census is the Nicholas Sheldon heading a household of six.
  He died at Cranston 9 March 1787, aged 93. His will dated 3 March 1787 was proved 24 March 1787. Calling him of Cranston, yeoman, far advanced in years, it mentions: son Nicholas and Stephen, both of whom have unnamed children. Daughters Sarah Waterman, wife of Benjamin, Hannah Henry, wife of Caleb, Mary Colvin, wife of George, & ____Congdon, first wife of Ephraim Congdon. Grandchildren of Ephraim Congdon by his first wife my daughter. Witnesses: Thomas Hazard, Thomas Sarle, Nehemiah Knight.
