Death of Dessie Foster

Died at the residence of her mother, Mrs. Mary Foster, in this city Saturday noon, (October 17, 1903) of consumption, Miss Dessie Foster, aged 21 years.

Miss Dessie was born in Cherokee County and has lived here all her life. She was the daughter of Frank (now deceased) and Mary Foster, and was a young woman of many estimable qualities. She leaves a mother and two brothers and a sister to mourn her loss. The funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the M. E. church of Larrabee, and were conducted by the Rev. Frank Weston, of this city. The remains were laid at rest in the Cedar cemetery where her father and other relatives are buried.
