NAPOLEON JACCUENOT DEAD
Farmer, 56, Succumbs to injuries at Hospital Here
Napoleon Jacquenot, 56, of Girard R.R.2, died at 7:40 o’clock last night at a local hospital, from injuries received last Wednesday when he was thrown from a mule and dragged.
The accident occurred Wednesday morning near his home as he was going to a neighbor’s with a pair of mules for a mower. He was thrown from the mule and was dragged for a short distance when he became entangled in a part of the harness. He suffered several fractured ribs, one of which punctured a lung.
Mr. Jacquenot was born July 8. 1878 at the present farm home near Greenbush, and had lived in the country all his life. He was married November, 1899 to Miss Elizabeth George of St.Paul, who survives.
Funeral services will be held at 9 O’clock Thursday morning at St.Aloysus Catholic church, Greenbush with Father Stremel in charge. Burial will be in the Greenbush cemetery. The body is at the home.
Survivors in addition to the widow are two sons, Francis and Clifton Jacquenot of the home; seven daughters, Ollie, Ethel, Cecelia, Thelma, Margaret and Loretta Jacquenot of the home, and Mrs. Ted Meyer of Girard R.R; one brother Gene Jacquenot of Walnut, and two sisters. Mrs. John Shay of Girard R.R. 2 and Mrs. James Daxon of Parsons.

Napolian Jacquinot Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Jacquinot, 88, died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Girard Hospital.
Born June 22, 1879 in Crawford County. Mrs. Jacquinot married Napoleon Jacquinot in 1901. They farmed in the Greenbush area for many years. Mrs. Jacquinot’s husband died in 1934 and she moved to Girard in 1946
A Member of St.Michael’s Catholic Church and St. Michael’s Altar Society, Mrs. Jacquinot is survived by two sons, Frank and Clifton Jacquinot, both of Girard; seven daughters, Mrs. Dave VanBuren, Mrs. Mary Meyer, Mrs. John Walsh and Mrs. Kenney Loyd of Girard, Mrs. Glade Reel, Cherokee, Mrs. William Halley, Mays Landing, N.J., and Mrs. George Sevart, Parsons; one sister, Mrs. Mary Juttner, Spearsville, Kan; four brothers, Dan George and John George of Giard, and Tom George and Ray George, both of St. Paul; 29 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Rosary was said twice; Thursday night at 7:30 at the W.D. Smith Chapel and Friday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
Requiem Mass was held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St.Michael’s with burial in Greenbush Cemetery.
