					Working in 1970 to have the catholic school and the public school share classes, the archbishop weighed in. Ultimately, they did share classes, starting an event that year that survived many years. Duane was at his political best then.

After Duane lost his job at Humphrey,. he was part of a presentation about reorganization from the University and those at Humphrey were in the audience. Humphrey was one of those small school and he had worked, while there to have the public school work with the catholic school across the street. That worked for some time. and may still be working.
