Excerpts from page 180:
"...Landon Waters married, in 1791 or 1792, Margaret, half-sister of Mary Musgrove. Seven children were born of the union with Margaret Musgrove, whose names are Nancy Musgrove, Westwood M., Philemon M., Landon M., Bordroyne M., William Landon M., and Hannah M. All of these children had for middle name, Musgrove. ..."
"Nancy M. Waters, b. Feb. 6, 1793; m. Mr. Fowler. They moved to Georgia, and there she died in 1860. She was the mother of five children. Dr. Adolphus Fowler, now living in Atlanta in the practice of his profession, is one of her children. He was a surgeon in the Confederate army."
The book identifies Nancy Musgrove Waters as the mother of Dr. Adolphus Fowler, the Confederate Surgeon. Since we know that Surgeon Adolphus was the son of Drury Andrew Fowler, we know who the "Mr. Fowler" refered to in the book is.
